Dr. Nidhi Gill is a primary care physician Board certified in internal medicine and was named Top Doctor Northern Virginia 2021 . Dr. Gill has been practicing medicine for 15+ years. She is a firm believer in preventative medicine and not reactive medicine.

Dr. Gill has extensive experience in caring for patients of all ages and managing complex medical cases. She takes a very personal approach to patient management and develops long-term relationships with her patients. She embraces the uniqueness of each individual patient and never misses an opportunity for his or her life experiences to teach her to become a better physician and person. When treating her patients, she uses a whole-patient approach, which allows her to understand the internal and external factors of a patient's illness.

Dr. Gill is a strong believer in the principles of continuity of medical care. She tends to her patients at the office and also manages their care if admitted to the hospital. This ensures treatment is uninterrupted and focused. Dr. Gill's aim is to help her patient's achieve optimal health by balancing the physical, mental, emotional and social aspects of their lives. She has a special interest in managing hypertension, COPD/asthma, preventative health and wellness.

Dr. Gill earned her medical degree at Kasturba Medical College in India where she graduated with honors. She completed her residence in internal medicine at Howard University Hospital in Washington, D.C. During her residency, she won many awards at the former Naval Medical Center ACP DC meetings for her clinical vignettes and presentations. Dr. Gill is a member of the American College of Physicians and the Virginia Association of Physicians of Indian Origin.

Dr. Gill lives in Ashburn with her husband and 2 children. She speaks English, Hindi and Punjabi. She enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends. Ask her about her many adventures and memorable trips.
